Sarah D. Willis is currently the Co-Director and Co-Founder of Aggregate Space Gallery: an artist-run gallery and event space located in West Oakland.
Aggregate Space Gallery's mission is to grow a community around innovation in sculptural and digital media by providing access and visibility to individual artists whose breadth of work evokes conceptual rigor and experienced design. Through an Artist in Residence program, we strive to maintain innovation in the arts by providing the necessary space for artists in a professionally-outfitted facility equipped with a fabrication shop, design studio, and screening room.
S.d. holds a B.F.A. from Herron School of Art and Design and an M.F.A. in sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute. While working as an artist and director of ASG, she has held positions in the IT and Exhibit Design field for Bay Area institutions such as: BAVC, Exploratorium, Museum of Craft and Folk Art, Ninth Street Independent Film Center, and Children's Creativity Museum.
